[Review] Benton Aloe BHA Skin Toner

Before we begin, I have to apologize because it’s has been almost a year that I uploaded my first blog and the blog isn’t updated. But!!..Finally, I’m back and promise that I will post my blogs as frequently as possible :)

So, Let’s get start!

Today I come with my most favourite products from South Korea which is

BENTON Aloe BHA Skin Toner

packed inside the simple green plastic product, but awesome ingredients within. Plus, this is my very first time trying Benton’s product and it has actually changed my life.

Benton Aloe BHA Skin Toner is dermatologically tested (yeap.. it has been tested by dermatologists before launching) and contains rich and benefit ingredients for skin. This toner is an acid toner because of Beta Hydroxy Acid which is best in exfoliating dead skin, but is designed to be used daily. So, Let’s look on the ingredients :)

Ingredients

This toner contains two types of ingredients: Active and Inactive Ingredients.

Active Ingredients

Salicylic Acid 0.50%

Inactive Ingredients

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water, Aqua, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Snail Secretion Filtrate, Beta-Glucan, Polyglutamic Acid, Aspalathus Linearis Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Psidium Guajava Fruit Extract, Salicylic Acid, Althaea Rosea Root Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Arginine, Pentylene Glycol, Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract, Pulsatilla Koreana Extract, Usnea Barbata (Lichen) Extract, Polysorbate 20, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Xanthan Gum

Honestly, the ingredients in this toner is surely benefit for skin because of these rich ingredients. 

Firstly, Salicylic Acid or, in other words, Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) helps attacking pimples, exfoliates skin, reduces sebum, and unclogs pores.

Next, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water is great in soothing and hydrating your skin which also helps reducing redness.

Finally, Snail Mucin which is most likely in almost skincare products is best at hydrating your skin.

(Besides, if you carefully read an ingredient labels, you will discover that Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water is on the top of list before aqua, or water.)

Packaging and Duration

The product is packed inside the 200ml green plastic bottle with the easy pumping applicator, so it is convenient and easy to use and hold. The product clearly shows the direction of use, caution, Lot No., Manufacturing Date, Expiry Date, and Product Shelf life.

FYI. This toner lasts 6 months after opens, so make sure that you write down the open and expiry date below the product :)

It does mean that product shelf life is so important!

How I apply the product:

This toner is designed to be used daily, so I sometimes use it in my morning routine.

- I gently pat my face with facial tissues after shower

- I apply about 2 pumps of toner and softly pat on my face until it absorbs

- After that, I apply light essence and sunscreen in the last step

Remember! Sunscreen is the most important part of skincare routine, so you shouldn’t forget to apply it before going out.

This toner truely steals my heart! I have used it for many months and it gradually works. Its ingredients helps reducing my acne and oil on my face. Moreover, it gives my skin moisture but doesn’t feel sticky through the day. I recommend this Benton toner to every skin types and mostly to people who have acne-prone skin like me :) And the price is reasonable.

Am I going to but it again? Absolutely!
